The length of time it takes to create a website really depends on your requirements. A basic HTML website can take about 2-4 weeks to go ‘live’ after we have discussed your requirements and we both agree on the design and more importantly the purpose of your site.
A static website includes web pages with fixed content and displays the same information to every visitor. Static websites contain fixed HTML code and the content of each page does not change unless it is manually updated and uploaded into the server. If you have some HTML knowledge then yes, you would be able to update your site by using an editor or you can hire a developer to edit and upload the content for you.
Yes, of course! If you’re not too great with technology, I can provide you with suitable maintenance plans that won’t break the bank and make sure that your website works in tip top condition.

WordPress is an intuitive, web-based publishing tool that allows non-technical individuals to manage their website, such as uploading photos, creating blog posts, pages, add products, take payments and more! WordPress have an easy to use WYSIWYG editor which makes it really easy to update information on your site. WordPress enables you to edit your site’s content as well as managing your sites navigational menus and layout structure. Take a look at just some of the features you can have using a WordPress website.
A bespoke WordPress website design will be made completely from scratch, which means; your website will be designed and coded based on your company’s specifications. This type of website is great for businesses who want something different in regards to design and functionality. A bespoke design takes a little longer to develop and tend to cost a little more depending on the complexity of your requirements.
A customised WordPress website is based on an existing framework. It already has the standard features of a WordPress website. This theme can be tweaked and changed based on your measurements and style options.
Time frames for bespoke WordPress website design vary from 3-6 weeks. This also depends on my workload, I usually do not work on 2 projects at a time especially when it comes to creating a website from scratch.

WordPress eCommerce FAQs
No, your e-commerce store will have no restrictions on the number of products you can add.
- Stripe. Accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club cards
- Pay with Amazon. Pay with Amazon is embedded in your store.
- PayFast Payment Gateway
Yes of course. Selling digital and downloadable products is easy! You do not have to worry about running out of stock! Your files will be stored on the server which means you can sell your files continuously.
It all depends on what payment gateway you want to use. I have found that a majority of people prefer to use PayPal standard, where payments are sent through PayPals secure servers. But I advise that you should use SSL for any website that is using any service that takes payment. It gives your customer confidence to shop with you and it shows that you take security seriously!
Domain & Hosting FAQs
Yes. Web hosting services are provided FREE for one year with all of my Web Design Packages.
That’s not a problem. However, I will need to access your web host account or cPanel so I can upload your website content and make changes to your website.
I will send you a reminder 3 months before your hosting expires, if you wish to continue hosting with me then you don’t have to do anything. You will be provided with an annual contract for the hosting renewal costs.
If you haven’t registered a domain yet you will need to select a name that is suitable for your business and then I will do the rest for you. The FREE domain name for one year includes the registration of a .com or a co.uk domain for 1 year. I will then configure this so that it ‘points’ to your website.
That’s absolutely fine. I can transfer your domain name to your new website without any extra charge.
Yes. You can have unlimited custom email addresses that match your domain name.
General Website Design FAQs
I will need to ask you a few questions. Don’t panic, I don’t expect you to answer any technical jargon. What I will ask you, though, are some personal details about you and your business. I need to gather as much information about your what you expect and gain from your website. This will help my research and brainstorm ideas that are geared towards in benefiting you and your customers. I will explain more in detail about the information I need through an informal chat via Skype or email.
This all depends on my schedule and whether I am currently working on another project. If this is the case, I will let you know from the outset the estimated date I can start working on your website.
The majority of my clients are based overseas. Even though nothing can replace a face to face interaction, I found that through the wonders of technology, communicating via phone, Skype and emails is perfectly fine. I have worked for clients that I have never met from ranging from the UK, US, Europe and the United Arab Emirates!
If you decide to purchase one of my all inclusive web design packages, your website will be automatically hosted for FREE for one year by Ohla Creative. Until final payment has been made, the website is the property of Ohla Creative. After payment, the site becomes the property of the client. This includes; the source code, images and graphics.
Your (CMS) website is built with SEO in mind, I can guide you on how to define your own metadata, page titles, page links and other important SEO elements. Search engines such as Google and Bing consider these aspects when determining their rankings. The better your website’s content, the more likely that it will appear on search listings.
Yes of course! I can re-design your old website while still retaining your own brand and give your business a completely fresh and modern image.
Yes. You will need to include as much information about your business, services or products and think about the content you want to place on your pages. Most of my clients provide their own content for their website. However, if you are unsure, we can always discuss this and I will advise you on the best practices in creating your own content.
Of course! All of my websites are built with responsive design. That means that your website will look great when viewed on handheld devices.
All my websites include Google Analytics implementation. This mean that I will place a Google Analytics code in your website which provides web tracking and records where your visitors are coming from, which pages they are looking at, what keywords they are using, what browsers they are using, how long are they spending on your site and much more! This is very useful and will help you have an insight for future marketing campaigns.
Before launching your website, I will make sure that all the necessary security prevention measures have been addressed. This can come in the form of installing trusted security plugins and minor tweaks on WordPress key files. I will also advise and guide you on the best practices to ensure that your website is secure. I can also offer support for a small monthly fee and I will handle the maintenance of your website.
Logo Design FAQ's
We will have an initial chat and discuss your ideas, likes, dislikes and most importantly your target market. I will also ask you to fill in a questionnaire, this will help me understand what you’re looking for and I can always refer to it through the design process.
I always encourage my clients to send me their ideas, colour palettes, font choices, as it helps me get an idea of what style you are looking for. I will collect as much information and research your industry, competitors before I begin any design concepts.
Once I gather all these from you I will then begin the design process. I will send you sketches and ideas for you to approve, and once you are happy I will then start bringing your graphic to ‘life’. Once the design project is ready I will send you a final proof for your to approve.
I believe in making sure that you are 100% happy with my work. Therefore you can have unlimited design revisions until I get it right.
This always depends on the complexity of your logo and whether I’m currently working on another project. The normal turnaround time for my logo designs from signing the contract to completion is about 2 weeks. Of course, we will discuss this before you make any commitment. Timeframe also depends on how quickly you respond for revisions and any additional changes to the design.
Once all the design is approved and the project is fully complete and paid for, you will be the rightful owner. I only reserve the right to showcase the graphic or logo on my portfolio.
Once your design is completed, I will provide your logo in various formats to enable you to use the logo in various ways. A guide will also be included to explain each format.
Of course! I will present you mock ups and wait for your approval before finalisation of the graphic.
Yes I do. But you must let me know if anyone else has the copyright to the design before I begin.
